Your support today will help reach the $150,000 goal to provide resources for our neighbors impacted by the SNAP food assistance disruption.
The USDA's refusal to release November SNAP benefits is bringing devastating consequences for more than 600,000 Coloradans. With SNAP food assistance benefits disrupted, many of our neighbors are turning to Metro Caring. With this sharp increase in demand for groceries, fresh produce, and essential items, Metro Caring’s resources are limited. Your monetary support today will help meet this urgent need to purchase food.
Laurie-Ann visited Metro Caring last week after learning that her November SNAP benefits will be withheld and shared, "I earmark my SNAP benefits for protein, milk, eggs, and some fresh veggies. I have to pay for my cancer treatment and medications that aren't covered by insurance. Places like Metro Caring become even more important in times like this. This is where we come when we know our food stamps won't last the rest of the month.”
With shelves emptying faster than we can restock, we urgently need your support to ensure everyone in our community has access to fresh, nutritious food today.
